    Hi

I've never really tried to take this type of shot before. Ignoring the fact that there is very little interest in the photo - what do people think of my processing in PS?

    Comments & Criticism welcome

    Thanks

I like what you've done there.

Very dark and moody, almost Ansel Adams like if you ask me. There's a hell of a lot more detail to be seen in the clouds as well, which really makes the whole scene much more interesting.

    Nicely done!

I especially like what you've done with the clouds.

must admit, I'm a fan of Phil too - I even bought of a couple of prints off him (he also works in the same company)...

anyway about the pic - the B&W is loads better than the colour. There seems to be a strong blue cast on the colour version and it looks a lot softer. The B&W conversion bring up loads of detail not only in the clouds, but also in the rocks.
It's an ideal image for B&W conversion IMO as there are lots of textures and shapes, which generally suit B&W.

Please note that this is not actually a photo, but a piece of digital art :D
