Has anyone seen boxes of these bottles for sale anywhere this year yet.

It's a seasonal beer and is usually out before now in dunnes etc at around €24 for 24 bottles.

It's one of the nicer beers chilled in good weather and I'd like a few boxes for the weekend.

    Anyone?

Tescos have had it on and off since christmas in boxes of 15 for €15. They dont seem to have it every week though so it may be a bit hit and miss.

Dunnes sell it, cases of fifteen and single bottles. Don't know the price though.

Fosters Ice is more difficult to get now. It used to be on special offer in many supermarkets but as the big brands are all now promotiong at silly prices, even Fosters Ice isn't great value. I suppose this is why you don't see too much of it anymore. I think you can buy it in single bottles in Dunnes. Best thing to do is to ask your local offie to try and order some in for you - they should be able to get it from their wholesaler, but it may not be at a special price. Have to agree, it is one of the best beers around. And rarely would I suffer a hangover from it . . . . added bonus:D

The other 15 pack spoken about is not Fosters ICe, but Fosters Lager. Not the same - Fosters Ice has a fresher, cleaner, crisper taste. Fosters Lager tastes more like Heineken, drinkable but not as good as the Ice version. Dunnes definitley has it more often than not and I have seen it in Centras and loads of local off licences. 15 bottles for €15.00 is good value and it is drinkable.

Fosters Ice used to be huge in the UK years ago, along with other Ice beers. This fad appears to have passed now and we are seeing the same thing here.

    Hope the above helps ! ! !

    A beer connosieur
