do meteor send email alerts

    a customer has a meteor mobile and wants to get a text message everytime she gets a new email


    i know vodafone do this for free and she siad she will move to vodafone if she has too.

    i am relying on you guys because -she didnt have broadband so i wasnt going to try to set a meteor emial up to find out "on her time" over dial up, and now i am at home on BB, i dont have a meteor phone to set one up :o

    she can set her email to forward to 08xxxxxxxx@sms.mymeteor.ie or 08xxxxxxxx@mms.mymeteor.ie

    where xxxx is her number

    don't think so. not in that format anyway. and the service is a bitty iffy on meteor

    @sms.mymeteor.ie is down at the moment, or seems to be.

    Doesn't work on the other networks.
