    Would that not be fraud?
seeing as you may have aquired the PES by less than legal means

(note i say "MAY", as obviously i have no clue how you obtained your copy)

Answer to question: No, I do not have a receipt, as I was sensible enough to avoid this piece of muck;)

I'll give you the low down:

My bird bought me pro as a pressie for our aniversary(Awww), thats why i've no reciept(although i dont usually hold onto reciepts for games anyways) Im also pretty sure she aquired it by legal means as she bought it in smyths in galway!

about 3-4 weeks ago my ps3 broke it, was working in the morning, without being removed from the ps3 it wast working in the evening, took it out to find it has a crack on the inside of the cd. Rang sony told them , they said it was in no way there problem and refuded to do anything about it. I was advised on boards to bring it back to the shop

As you said its a fairly poor game, thats why i dont want to buy it again.

\Shop wouldn't be responsible as when they sold you the game it was fine. Only way you'd get something out of them is a gesture of goodwill.

sdoom seemed to think it was

Maybe Not of merchantable quality, it broke during normal use? I really dunno, im not up on the law! I know you work in a game shop, remind me not to go to yours:p

None of my other games have cracked!

EDIT: I've never had a cd in as good of condition that wasnt brand new... other than the crack!

If i had a number where i could actually ring konami i'd demand one of them, but my phone is locked from international calls (company phone) so i cant get in touch with them. I have owned every pro evolution soccer , inc 2 pes 3 as the first one got scratched and 2 pes6 (pc and Ps2). If they didnt replace i would literally never buy pro again, i would get it again, but never buy it.

Well I'm just saying what we were told. If you think about it, you got the game and it was in perfect working order, then your PS3 chews it up, how is the shop responsible?

It might have had a flaw in the disc that developed due to the stress of the drive

I know what your sayin zap but norrie is right, its not like my ps3 is doing this to all my disks?

I work in a tile shop weekends, if i sold someone tiles and after a few months of regular use they started to break , it would be the shops fault(providing they had been laid correctly or the house wasnt sinking or something)

This isnt all that diffrent. I dont expect shops to replace disks that got damaged because i was careless with them.

Got a reciept off a buddy of mine from home, i think he might know a dude who works in the shop he got it from so combine those and i'd be fairly confident i should get a replacement. I dont even care if its second hand or anything, just want a new game!
