I would imagine that they are restricted in their stopping locations in Bray due to the existing Bray Air Express service.

    €18 return from Greystones?

Ok its cheaper than a cab, but its the same fare they're charging from Cork and Belfast!

The shaggin DTA can`t get started quick enough I say......

What cretin had the bright idea of locating an Air Coach Stop in the middle of Shankhill Village...?

I`m assuming that the "Normal Procedures" were followed for this whereby the Local Authority and the Gardai inspect and approve ALL Bus/Coach Stop locations ?

Neither of these worthy bodies appear to be aware that Aircoach is NOT an Airport BUS service...it is a premium rate COACH service with all the additions that premium tag carries.
Therefore, are the "Authorities" aware that the majority of Aircoach customers go equipped with...wait for it.......LUGGAGE !,often in substantial quantities

Additionally at many Aircoach stops the customers are dropped off from CARS,which have to park somewhere whilst the farewells and luggage transfer to the Coach is made......

Are we beginning to see a scene being set here yet ... :o ??

Yes indeed ....SHANKHILL VILLAGE....MAIN STREET SHANKHILL.....A location SO unsuited for any long dwell Coach stop it simply defies belief !!

How any local Traffic Corps Garda could grant permission for this Stop is beyond belief.

Aircoach, more than any other Operator in Dublins Public Transport mess, requires SPACE... to ensure the safety of it`s own Staff and customers AND to allow the rest of humanity to get on with it`s business while Aircoach customers embark/disembark their luggage...It`s not rocket science FFS

Aircoach will clean-up on this route and as passenger numbers grow this spectacularly stupid Stop Location will see conflict on an hourly basis...and more as the outbound coaches arrive on the opposite side.

If there is any intelligent life lurking about the Shankhill Admin area.....PLEASE move this stop!!!....There is safer and more accessible space opposite Shankhill Church with the benefit of the Church Car Park close by...there is even a wee bit of a pull-in .....why not use it ?

Men, it has been well said, think in herds; it will be seen that they go mad in herds, while they only recover their senses slowly, and one by one.

Of course, you can now get a DART feeder ticket from the 102 bus.

    For EUR 3.90 one way!

However, it might take a little longer than Aircoach.

For that matter you can also get a DART and Airlink ticket for EUR 7.40 one way, the latter requiring a change at city centre.

There are actually a reasonable number of integrated products like this....when you go looking for them!!

and if you have an annual ticket the airlink is free.

This looks like it would be a very convenient Aircoach route for me. Now to try to figure out on a map what way it goes around Sandymount. If it goes up Sydney Parade, now that would be very handy.

18 Euros would be pretty expensive from Sydney Parade. Why not pick up the Donnybrook/Ballsbridge one for 12 Euros?

But it's not €18 from every stop, only all the way from Greystones. Take another look at the fares link given above. It drops to €12 after the Mt. Merrion stop.

The service is great but it is starting to arrive earlier at stops off-peak than it did before. for example, bus no. 662 left foxrock church yesterday morning (24/feb) 5 minutes before its scheduled time of 7:12.

Nice to have wifi and the drivers are very helpful abnd polite.

Does anyone know how long it would usually take to get from Bray to the airport in the morning my flight is at 9:40 on a Sunday and I was just wondering the best time to get the bus to avoid any problems, thanks

But what time do you need to check in?

It should take about 1h20 for the bus journey. Add time for getting to terminal and check in.

    Departures from Bray (Wilton Hotel) at 00:16, 01:16, 02:16, 03:16, 04:16, 05:16, 06:16, 07:16, 08:16 (this one probably too late).

Download the Aircoach app from iTunes or GOogle Play store, it'll give you a rough idea of what times the bus passes that stop each hour.
