I'm fairly sure Rondo do ship to Europe. Send them an e-mail and see what they have to say.

I was also under the impression that they ship to europe, definitely contact them.

They do. An old housemate of mine had a silver burst. Pretty nice guitar actually.

Customs and VAT will be about 25%. If you found a shop selling the same thing in Europe that would literally just be included in the cost they gave you. You pay the tax one way or another, buying from outside the EU just gives the illusion of things being cheaper.

How do they tell whats 25% of the item? does the company posting declare it or something?

And how much hassle is all this? Is it as simple as i pay the man who ends up deliivering it?

Rondo music do ship to Ireland. You will to pay the VAT on the total of the item + shipping.

I don't think some of the guitars like the SX SJM-62 are available in Europe so you mightn't have a choice.

Are the any of the Douglas Hawker or Agile guitars available in europe?

I think they're comissioned by Rondo, their own brand names, so to speak. I don't think they're available anywhere else.

i've ordered from Rondo, they do deliver to Ireland, but you can't return the guitar if your not happy, its basically take it as is.

Having said that, i had no problem with the guitar, delivery was very quick (5 days), and I didn't get caught by customs either
