My battery is low and i was trying to change film but the arm won't go across in order to wind the film on. As I'm broke i didn't want to spend 14quid just now and found out that both me and camera are broke. So should i be able to wind on film with flat battery? The little nobbley button at bottom(that allows you to wind off film)hasn't boinked back down. battery or broke?
P.S I didn't get long ago and love it. Like really, really love it.

It's a deadly camera alright. But you shouldn't need the battery to do anything with the film wind on mechanism, they're totally separate. Is the roll in the camera exposed or still empty?

I'd pop the cover and take a good look at what's jammed. You may lose the roll unless you have a dark bag to open the camera in though.

    Best of luck.

Thanks roen, i took a roll out and it's now that i'm putting a new one in that i realise the release button didn't come down. I'm surprised that it may be a fault in the camera as it's in pristine order. I'll give it a good shake and maybe stare at it for a while.
