    Looking at a giant xtc composit. any ideas? How strong is the frame?

    They're great XC bikes - I wouldn't go jumping off large drops on one though. They're also backed up by a good warranty. One of the most popular bikes at XC races too.

    Not if you want to race. Seeing lots of Specialized s-works Epics and hardtails at the recent K Capital MTB race series - the Vets race in round 1 was won on an s-works Epic....
