I'm 22 and working in an office doing pricing related work for an American transglobal company. I'm permanent and on 26k/yr. Got a 3.39% wage increase today (instead of the 4% it was supposed to be because I'm permanent less than a year). Is this good or bad? I'm a bit disappointed....

Ok, so you missed out on 0.61% of 26K = €158.6 per annum taxed at 20% = €126.88 per annum or €10.57 per week.

You're in the company less than a year, I'd imagine they're well within their rights not to have given you a raise at all.

22 and on that money isn't bad, especially if you have no major debt.

What are you disappointed about again?
