Secondhand furniture - sell & buy?

    Help!
I'm sick of the look of our 'family room' and trying to scrape a few bob together to replace the furniture.

I've advertised on www.gumtree.ie what I want to shift - managed to sell coffee table so far. Also advertised on www.donedeal.ie and paid €3 for the privilege of uploading photos - not a bite there!

Does anyone know of anywhere else i can try - both to sell and buy? Have tried Buy & Sell but again have to pay for photos.

I have a fair idea of what I want to buy - its just getting the dosh to do it. I dont have expensive tastes, just a clean modern style is what i like :)

    Any advice much appreciated!:D

Hi have you tried jumbletown.ie? or www.dublinwaste.ie/free_trade.php Always plenty of living room furniture going free...and you can always repaint/varnish wooden tables, chairs etc. and recover a settee if need be...

Another one for adverts.ie. Have both bought and sold stuff there. Have bought from both gumtree and buyandsell, but TBH, only if there are photos attached.

Just sold 1 item on donedeal.ie and rest of furniture on gumtree!
    Very happy bunny :)

Not a single reply from ad on adverts.ie - seems a bit slow on there.

Off with dosh to revamp room!:D

    Hello friend,

You can give advertisement in local newspaper,or you can ask in furniture stores, they have a list of buyers and sellers, they can help you.
If you want you can visit this site, they do have a list of moving peoples, may be anyone there to sell their furniture,or new comers wanted to buy it.
