Java tabs

Ok I have written a java program that inserts into and recieves data from MSSQL. I am considering writing another program that does simular work and was wondering is it complicated to put in a tab on the 1st program, could u explain it 2 me and if possible show me some code or would i have to put program up here. I am not very good at java so sending me to the java api will be of no use.

Does the 1st program have a GUI? is it swing? I presume by tab you mean it in UI terms? but your post isn't that clear.

yea it uses swing and has a GUI
