Receiving limits on Paypal account

Hi. I've got a receiving limit of 2500/year on my paypal account. But is there an actual monthly limit as well? Or could i receive the entire 2500 in one month if i wanted? Any advice much appreciated.

As far as I can remember there is a monthly limit that is less than your annual limit.

Go to you paypal account and you will be able to view your monthly send/receive limits.

You can lift the limts by providing copy of passport + proof of address. Its the same stuff banks require and part of anti money laundering regulations.

They will e-mail you when you get close to the limits and processing of the lift takes just a day or so, and then no limits apply.
