Focus "aux" input

My 2008 Ford Focus Style has a button with "aux" on it on the radio?
It doesn't have an input jack though, and after googling it I think it is either this (http://www.installer.com/item/display_item.php?it=pxfdfc)
or this (http://www.oemautosound.com/pc-192-86-pie-frd04-aux-ford-auxiliary-input-2004-2008.aspx)
that I need so I can hook up my CD player or MP3 player to it.
I would just like your advice about which one is the best option (or indeed even the right one).

Have you checked the users manual, if it has an AUX button I assume there has to be a jack, it may well be at the back of the unit, which of course wouldn't be ideal. I stand to be corrected of course.

You're right;it's on the glove box, bizarre location. good job I didn't buy either of those!

Well it'll discourage people from leaving ipods on public display on the dash, so it might save you a few broken windows.

I think it is put in the glove box so that your IPOD will be secure and out of view.

Aye, spose so. It's a Creative Zen I have in any case. I wouldn't use the aux input at all if the stereo played MP3 CD's but it doesn't.

Hi, what part of the glove box is the jack in??
