Sunny Beach Bulgaria in June?

    Hi all

    Myself and my boyfriend are thinkng of heading to Bulgaria in June. Has anyone been there during the summer and if so could you recommend a hotel?

    Victoria Palace is nice enough - probably one of the best there. Beds are a bit dodgy though.

    Chambermaids clean the room and smoke at the same time. I thought that was hilarious.

    Ye, their serious smokers.. would be a brave prime minister to call a smoking ban in bulgaria..
    If your getting flights only to bulgaria, leave the hotel booking until your near going as hotels are cutting prices big time during summer months to get people in them

    me and my girlfriend went last year and were goin again this year in late july, were staying in the summer dreams apartments, there like 2 mins from the beach but still outside the main area which was cool for night time

    stayed in Sea dreams apartments. Brand new, clean, quiet - but have their own bar. Close to huge supermarket and about 5-10 mins walk to beach/main nightlife area.
