Not sure if this is the right place to post this so sorry if its in the wrong place!Anyone else have problems with youtube stopping every couple of seconds while you are watching something on it? Wondering if its a problem with youtube or me?! But its really annoying!!

Me too-tried few times last week and didn't ever load...tried again this morning...worked a bit but not as good as it used to be-Painful job just to listen to music

Victim of it's own popularity...this time on a saturday evening it's primetime for online video viewing across Europe and the servers and their bandwidth are under presure to cope with millions of requests. Could also be down to the size of the video file and it's popularity...

Your download speed could have slowed. If so, then the clips are playing faster than they are downloading and the clip freezes until a bit more has downloaded.

Also happens if the site slows down for any reason.

i used to get this all the time on ie.youtube.com, changed to youtube.com and it stopped.

Click the pause button and wait until the clip has fully downloaded before playing. Otherwise you'll just get mad at the constant freezing and put your fist through your monitors screen.

OT, that stop/start buffering thing always happens to me and not just on youtube. The trick is to pause it for a while and then go back to it once there is a good bit of the vid downloaded.
