    Evening all,

I took this this morning on the way home from work...

not sure about the washed out sky, but I like the crop....should I bother printing it?

Definitely I'd say, it's a great picture. The only thing I'd say is perhaps to crop a bit tighter so that you lose the edge of the broken clouds at the top right. Other than that, lovely!

    I quite like it

I think it needs a little more contrast, but apart from that nice

I would print it, i think it could look quite nice on a wide canvas

@ rahtkennades - thanks for taking the time to have a look....would you believe that I tried that crop and it made the sky even more plain looking!!

I'll definitely rework it and have another look, thanks again

@ Stephen - I agree, I thought I'd done enough with this contrast-wise, but I was viewing it on my lap-top screen - here in work it looks a bit wishy-washy...

I must get a canvas print done....I wonder if anyone round here could help...:)

Like i said in the PM I didnt mean to sound like i was touting for business I actually do think it would look good

As for laptop screens they are hopeless for picture editing etc

I would say that a dramatic sky to it would be easy to do if u have photoshop, and it would certanly improve the picture.

Thanks again Stephen....I've checked your website and sent you a PM

TYR - thanks...I agree, I'd be fairly handy with photoshop but and could drop in another sky easily enough, but, to be honest....I'd get better satisfaction going back to the loation another day when the skies are more dramatic,

    thanks again,

    Philip
