Anyone remember the Purty Loft in Dun Laoghaire from the mid 1990's? Did not have the spirit of the early dance clubs like sides but was still classic at the weekends..

It was called "Coast" most recently but has now been closed down. On Thursday nights they had a bit of an oldskool night going that was o.k but not many go out on a thursday night. I could be wrong but i think the whole place has been gutted and are re building but not sure if it's gonna be a nightclub. Dun Laoghaire is screaming out for a good club. Bodega my arse

Yea just up around Monkstown, have to agree, somewhere decent in DunL would be class. I've never been to platinum, but the place looks dodgy as hell from a mile off so i've steered clear.

I remember going to the Purty Loft and to Ziggys :D
Platinum is a dump and it costs 15 euro to get in there on a Sat night

Scruples. Didnt have the music like Ziggys but still was a decent enough club. Some good nights in it

Scruples thats it :) I had totally forgotten what it was called.
I vaguely remember seeing John Cechchini playing in Ziggys and it was mental that night.
