Leinster email said during the week that there was a whole load of things going on in and around the RDS and expected things to be a bit crazy traffic wise and urged people to get public transport...

...at worst if I was you I would arrve early and park a fair bit away

    This weekend, no chance.

    Use train/bus if possible.

Public transport is your best bet for this. Park at a Dart station and dart up to Landsdowne Road or Sandymount

Park at any Dart station and get the Dart to Sandymount. There is an air coach bus stop directly accross the road from the RDS on Simminscourt Road outside Bewleys Hotel (accross the road from four seasons).

On International days in LR there's a church down off Anglesea Road (I think)that provdes parking for around €5.

Do they provide this service during the Leinster matches?

Yeah, but about 100 parking spaces for 18,500 rugby fans, plus whatever else is going on at the RDS today.

    The dart advise is good.

If I have absolutely HAVE to drive in today, where would people recommend to park? I'd love to get the DART in but pretty much the only reason I'm getting a ticket is because I can drive people to the game, unfortunately. If I'm arriving at 5pm will it be absolutely impossible to find anywhere do you guys reckon?

you could try to park in the 4 seasons beside the rds?

if you drive to Sandymount village you can park in one of the side streets where houses are etc...if you keep driving through the village, coming from Pearse St. direction towards ballasbridge direction, before you get to the DART station there are housing estates just off to the left (within sight of the station) and you'll find parking on the srteet somewhere around there if you travel early enough.

Why am I posting this? I live there and i hate when the narrow streets where I live are clutterd with cars  but you seem desperate :)

Along Clyde road or some where like that with a bit of a walk?

Not outside an embassy, they army might blow up your car while your at the game. I park at a friends house in rathmines and taxi/walk.

I ended up getting a space about a 5min walk from the ground (and it wasnt pay&display!) in an estate near Donnybrook church, score! Cheers anyway lads, very enjoyable game.
