    Nope.

    Its three countries that are represented at the World Cup.

    Its two brothers. Both played for one of the countries (but not at the same time) and each played for one other country.

    It was in the 1990's

    Nope.

    Additional clue: One of the brothers played for a couple of seasons in Ireland in the early 1990's, for a first division club in Dublin, this was around the start of his international career.
