Hey guys, with ROH's $10 DVD sale i'm hoping to pick up a lot of stuff. I already have most of the Best of's as well as Man Up and Driven and was wondering what events would you guys recommend I get? Are there any stand out shows etc? Thanks.

I've seen all the shows up to Final Battle 2007 and to be honest I can't really differentiate between the newer shows but here are a few I can think of off the top of my head.

The Japan shows are decent, as is the Race to the Top tournament.
Death Before Dishonor weekend mainly for the streetfight between the Briscoes and Steenerico, awesome stuff.
Manhattan Mayhem 2 for Danielson vs Morishima.
Glory by Honor for Misawa and the finale of the Danielson Aries best of 3 series.
Reckless Abandon for a crazy scramble tag match.
    Rising Above, the 5th PPV.
Final Battle is very good too.

Get the All Star Extravaganza and Supercard of Honor from 2007 too, more Dragon Gate goodness.

Thats all I can think of for now.

I highly recommend getting the 28th of March show featuring Dragongate when they release it what a great night of wrestling, cant speak on the 29th show but i'm sure it was probably as good

I've gone so out of ROH now I couldn't even tell you who the champions are, or who is feuding with who. I think I am up as far as Honour Nation, and even with that I stopped watching at some god awful 3 man with Nigel McGuinness which was a non sensical match. I have 5 subsequent shows, but have not had any inclination whatsoever to watch them.

However, with that bitching aside, and aside from the recommends of Double C, some of the great shows are as follows

    Glory By Honour 4
    All Star Extravaganza 2
Joe Vs Punk II (if only for the main event)
    Manhatten Mayhem
    Final Battle 05
Joe Vs Kobashi (again, if only for the main event. Not sure have I even watched the rest tbh).
Supercard of Honour I & II
    Better Than Our Best
    Death Before Dishonour 5
    100th Show
    Weekend Of Champions Night 2
    Glory By Honour (2006)
    FYF Chicago
    FYF Liverpool
    FYF Finale
    Good Times Great Memories

There are no doubt some great shows in 2002 and 2003, but I have never delved back that far.

While everyone has recommended some really good stuff thus far, I'm assuming your going to stick to releases included in the 10dollar sale? If that's the case, then I would recommend the following...

Battle of St.Paul (badly overlooked show, really really good stuff)
Supercard of Honor2 (one of the best of last year)
    Fifth Year Festival: Finale (ditto)
    Fifth Year Festival: Liverpool
    Fifth Year Festival: New York
Unified (if you loved Dragon/NIgel from Driven)
Chi-Town Struggle (Underrated, especially good if you like Cabana)
    Dragon Gate ChallengeFourth Year Anniversary
Punk: The Final Chapter (Great show all round, even ignoring the emotional main event)
    Redemption
    Death before Dishonor 3
    Manhattan Mayhem (Fantastic top-to-bottom)
    Death before Dishonor
    Glory By Honor
Straight Shooting with joe and Punk

Some of the other stuff, like All Star Extravaganza 2, is really good, but i'm guessing you've already seen the main event, so i picked out some of my favourite, all-round shows. Any further details, i'm happy to help.
