    Hi,

    Going to be Bangkok for 3 nights at the beginning of may. Any suggestions of places to visit, eat shop etc. Any help would be great.

    the street food is great in bk and its everywhere, steer well clear of pa pong unless yer after sex of course
    chinatown is cool lots of alleys n all
    enjoy

    eat at the street stalls, very nice abd cheap! i think patpongs worth a visit too, theres a nightmarket there for shopping and some fairly interesting shows;) khao san road is probably worth a visit, its fairly colourful but a little overrated, good for getting cheap clothes etc during the day though. there are some massive shopping centres in the city too so shopping wont be hard to find. all in all its an interesting city and im sure you will have plenty to do when your there.

    Is it really as cheap as people say? I'm stopping off there for the last 3 days of my honeymoon and all people say to me is "shop till you drop, its so cheap".
