    Hey,

I kind of have this idea which I would like to suss out.
Ok firstly I am buying a bike (or someone else is for me) back at home.
    http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=20775

The thing is though, I was wondering if I were to buy a triathlon frame would it be possible to strip down my road bike, ie use the groupset on my triathlon frame...

Say something like that just for example!

Are there any compatibility issues with different groupsets - ie differences between shimano 105, ultegra, dura ace etc or should they all work ok?

The the other thing is - what else do I need to think about?
I will need to get triathlon bars and the stuff I imagine with that - brakes, gear levers etc.
What else will I need to buy new or can I take from my road bike...

This would just be a summer thing, and change back after the season. I am only thinking of this as I am trying to save money...

    Any ideas or pointers...

    Thanks

Yes it would work. You'd need to buy time trial style shifters and brake levers to put on the aerobars, but everything else is fine. All of the 10 speed Shimano groupsets are interchangeable, i.e. 105, Ultegra and Dura Ace.
