Are there any bookies that will take a bet on which horse will be declared a non runner this morning in the above race? Flat 8 for e/w purposes at moment but Im sure one of the lesser stables will have theirs withdrawn due to a stone bruise or other such terminal injury!

Not quite sure I understand the question... !

But... If you are afraid to bet e/w in case they wont pay out on 3 places if a horse withdraws, you should consider using Betfair's place markets. If a horse withdraws, the place terms remain the same.

thanks wb, im glad somebody understood the point I was making.

the betfair e/w place wouldnt pay aswell as some of the place terms on an each way bet in the bookies (although the win odds on betfair would be greater) still the bare eight so Im hoping they all make it to the start!

No non runner in the 9.40 but I do hear what you're saying. The amount of times 16 runner handicaps are reduced to 15 or less runners is really annoying. Its usually some 3 legged yak that pulls out too so the place terms are altered but the complexion of the race is changed too much
