IPOD REPAIRS - why not try the USA

    My son had a problem with the jack on his IPOD video 5th gen. He opened it up to check it out but didn't spot a loose screw from the jack which got lost. Having trawled through the various forums, checking out the repair companies etc I decided it was easier to replace the jack myself. I have to say there is nothing as satisfying as going down the road of DIY IPOD repairs. There are so many videos and photos out there on how to do it.
    I sourced the jack - no problem.

    I started looking on the internet for jack screws. I couldn't find them anywhere and after sending an e-mail to www.ipoddrop.com, got a reply within 5 mins. After a 2 minute phonecall to Bob got my problem sorted. Well worth the phone call.
    Received the following reply:-

    Hi Joe,

    Just letting you know that I have already shipped you the screws for your ipod. Our Postal service said it would take 5 - 7 days for you to receive the package. No-charge for this my friend....... Just spread the good word over there about our iPod repair service company.
