God of War - God mode

    Hi,

    Anyone play this game on the PS2 and mange to complete it in God Mode? I'm right at the end fighting the Clones and I'm getting wasted every single time - this is going on too long and I'm loosing the will to continue!!

    HELP!!

    so, soooo tough. i remember doing that years ago. the clone fight is a nightmare, i died a lot! and the controller nearly got broke in frustration but i remember teh frustration.

    From what i remember about finally beating it was the only comdo to be used is [], hold [] (as it sends the clones into the air at the end).

    The key was to use rage of the gods, then army of hades then your choice of spells (think i mostly used posidons rage and anotehr army of hades) until rage of the gods runs out then army of hades again, then go heal your family.

    you need to wait until your families health is low before you hug them because as you hug them it recharges your rage of the gods as well. so kick some ass and let your family go down a bit before rage of the gods. oh and you need to go into the fight with full health and magic.

    thats all i remember from finally conquuering it, oh the pain.

    Thansk for the tips, didn't realsie my Rage went up when I hugged teh Wife and Kid - might be of some help.

    lol cant believe any people in the country trying god mode!*i know i know i am from outer space*

    the key is to save your full mana till the wife part,max poseidon,spam the rage when too many of them ,*hug wife will recover your life and mana*this allow you spam 4 times of rage as i can remember,circle button one hit kill,avoid them to get near wife by holding square etc

    ah,looks like OP got it!enjoy god of war 2 then:Dthe sequel is not as good as the 1st one IMO.just,one important tip for GoW2 god mode,max your sub weapon(that one you use to smash enemy) ASAP,the imbalance of the gameplay force you to use your weapons others than the chainblades:(

    while the psp version worth a try too:)although the balance system is pretty messy...
