    Eh, only two of that particular Roche lineage have ridden the Tour. Young Nicolas rode the Giro last year which is plenty of three week racing for a major tour debutant...

    I thought your eighth might have been the British pro Seamus Ryan who rode on Crinnion's team in the 60's. Not sure if he rode the tour, though. Anyone know anything about him?
