    Hi,

Feel free to move this to the best location :)

Just got the task of organizing a night out for the job. There will be about 20 of us, (next Tuesday) just looking for dinner and then onto somthing 'different' instead of just sitting in the pub. Anybody got any ideas? Anybody know if you can book the Gravity Bar?

    Cheers

    The Wacness

Well seeing as Gravity bar is in Dublin, as the first search result on google will confirm for you, I'd imagine he's referring to the capital of this country (bet that hurts to read, doesn't it?)

OP: If you know the right people you can book the VIP in Crystal. Dunno about gravity bar. Have a ring around and ask the lot, you can also get the VIP in Lillies but the place is a bit meh.

ah but that's not necessarily the only place in the country called gravity bar ;)

of course it's obvious he meant dublin a biko only asked because he doesn't like anything that's only related to dublin being in after hours

It's the only one that features on Googles first search results page. Also, it's in Dublin so it's the only one that matters. :)

I doubt you'd get a booking for 20 people at such short notice tbh. The restaurant is usually booked up there a good bit in advance!!

This is good fun, we did it a few weeks ago, 14 of us, gets a good atmosphere going, and there are loads of locations to choose from, in fact i think the Drum people can more or less go where you want to!

Depends what your group is like, but there's a brilliant Korean all you can eat restaurant called Bon Ga on Capel St. 21 Euro for a buffet, really nice food.

Other perks include, you can bring your own crates of beer/bottle of vodka/wine into the restaurant. ( Went with a college society and we dropped in a few crates of Heineken during the day,and they even put them in the fridge for us!)

And downstairs after dinner there's Karaoke rooms, which you can have for up to 2 hours I think. It's absolutely great craic, good food, and perfect for a big group.

the food was pretty good, like Chinese food, nothing too weird, they have something for everybody. There's chips, noodles, soup, loadsa different kinds of meat, sweet and sour sauce, sushi too if thats your steez, and as much food as you want.

I'd reccomend not eating for the day :D

Tell me how you get on! If it's anything as good as my night there,it should be great!

That place Bon Ga looks deadly but is it all a buffet? We will have two directors with us, they are up for a laff, but I dont think the idea of a buffet will go down well :(

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 500 ✭✭✭zuchum

yep...unfortunatelu it is just all you can eat as far as i know...good quality, but buffet nonetheless...oh well, maybe you can go with a group of mates instead!

Rent some gypsies. Acquire some weapons and a few litres of hooch.
Mix all 3 and it's fun for all the family (and work colleagues)
