from 21st in March 2007 ( and 20th in March 2006) Ryan on his 'watch' has us dropping 2 places according to the World Economic Forum . People who make important decisions globally read this bloody thing , obviously not Ryan as he does not make decisions .

Our actual score was 5.01 last year and 5.02 this year, this means that while we stayed static the competition improved and went past us.

This is the real price of doing NOTHING when others are busy Eamonn, its variously called competition and progress. Its an index of concrete achievement .

Congratulations for the progress you made in your first year in office Eamonn , the World Economic Forum does not buy your platitudes and insular waffle on unreliable 3g . If they did believe you we would probably have jumped up 10 places .

If you get us anywhere back near the first world before you lose your seat I will be amazed :(

Is there an address to send this to Ryan... and would there be any point - he doesnt appear to be living in the same reality as the rest of us.

Or for that matter Former Opposition Ryan - how the tune has changed....
