having trouble setting up dvd recorder with chorus digital

    since i got digital ages ago i havent been able to set up my dvd recorder. when i had the black box before i neverhad any trouble but since i got digital i cant set it up. i dont know why ive tried loads of times. so anyone else have the same problem

    A.F.A.I.K. you need to get a second scart lead - have one from the set top box to the recorder and the second from the recorder to the tv. Make sure your DVD has two scart sockets - Most modern ones do but you can purchase adapters to add sockets.

    There should be two scart sockets on the back of the digital box. One will have TV the other will have VCR/AUX put a scart from tv socket to the tv and the AUX one to the DVD recoder. Should sort you out if not try swapping the scarts as one may be faulty

    i have done that but am still having problems. i cant get the tv picture onto the rcording screen so instead it just records blank. i have hooked it up properly. i try the remote to search and preset the dvd recorder channels but it comes back blank. maybe one of the scart leads is faulty. im not really sure.thanks for the help
