11yrs ago I had one of my front teeth knocked out,the local clinic put a post in it and its been fine and never given me any trouble apart from it being black!I have been to a few dentists regarding a crown or whatever would make it look"normal"they wouldnt touch it!the same with a specialist dentist in a private hospital here in Kerry as he said it may go into distress and fall out.
Is there any help for me out there?Im really fed up with it now even though after xrays all dentists did say it was a great job and I was lucky to get so long out of it ,and it has only darkened at the root(even though the root is dead)

You need a crown or veneer and I really cant see why any dentist wont do it for you - Ive never heard of that before!
