    Hi,

I have an unlocked Windows Mobile 6 3G handset, and am using a new 3 SIM card. Could someone please provide me with the settings I need to configure GPRS etc. ? - I took a look at the sticky, but those settings don't seem to apply?

    cheers,
    -fm

    Thanks a million for that.
    Is it:
    MMS Network ?
    WAP Gateway ?
    WAP Network ?

Probably answered a million times already :) but:
    Settings>Connections>Connections>My ISP>Add a new modem connection:
    Name: Any name e.g "three".
Select a modem: Cellular line (GPRS, 3G).
    >Next
    Access Point Name: 3ireland.ie
    >Next
    Username: Blank
    Password: Blank
    >Finish.

Setting up MMS is trickier IIRC.

Thanks. I used that config, and also did the age verification and then put the 9.99 1GB add-on on my 3Pay account.

As of 6pm (all of a sudden), the browser on my phone suddenly became active - would not connect to anything earlier, but once my my3 details started showing that internet access was allowed, it started working. It will only connect to my3 - it wont connect to any other site. I have no proxy configured, just the APN, and I confirmed that the browser is fine when on wifi. Called 3, and after some troubleshooting, they said I had to try my SIM in another 3 phone or use another 3 sim in my own phone before they would do anything.

Is there something else I can try before having to go all the way to the 3 store?

    cheers,

Must have been a provisioning issue - working fine this morning all of a sudden - something must have been blocked.

    Thanks for the info folks.
