    sold it myself for €500...which was what I paid for it...must have done a LOT of work to it for it to be in good condition throughout.

    Reminds me of a one i looked at before, a mk5 aswell, the guy that owned it wanted 1900eu for it, but i knew he only paid 500 as he had said it to a guy i knew, it was rusty and ran badly too.I must say your green 77 S is a fantastic looking machine though!!:D

    well the one on ebay runs beautifully.....and the interior and other aspects were very good..i did have a few fortune hunters come to look at it when I had it for sale who misread the ads and thought that it should be a perfect car....i expect youv'e all met time wasters like that.

    i dont think you have seen a few 3.0S's around old chap....i dont know of another outside South Africa...

    my grandfather had one over here about 25 years ago which he brought back after retiring from the british army.... afaik it was sold went to england and came back over...


    would love to see it again.... really shouldnt of replaced it with a hillman hunter...

    anyways yeah there pretty rare


    as for timewatsers.... dont get me started ! :mad:

    it weasnt registered then as they had to create as new cartegory for it ....:cool:
