Alloy size for Golf 1.6 FSI

    Thanks to all who replied to my question on factory fitted Golf alloys yesterday.

    Would appreciate one more bit of advice/opinion. I'm assuming the base 1.6 FSI has 15" wheels. If I change to alloys, any advice on what size wheel I should go for?

    I've seen Golfs with OEM 17" rims but you will have to get lower profile tyres to offset the increased diameter of the rim and ground clearance hight of the car. The general ride and comfort of the car will also be a bit harder due to having bigger wheels.
