    Hi,

Just looking on some advise from people who have owned or own a Saab, are they nice to drive, what is the resale like on them.

How much are looking at paying, is there a certain type of 9-3 you would recommend, ie sport version.

My Budget is around 25000 euro

Would it be a good idea to buy it in england? I have a uncle in Manchester, so i could get him to look at it.

Does anyone have any website for buying cars in england or in the North, preferably North

    Thanks
    Rob

They depreciate so I'd advice to get a car that's at least 3 years old. You get a newish car for a much lesser price.

Saab is often compared to Beamer

You might want to read up on VRT changes in July.

Buy it in the UK after 1st July and the VRT on the diesel version should be reduced.

1.9 TiD is a Fiat unit and supposed to be one of the best in it's class. It is available in 120bhp and 150bhp.

As for how good a drive it is well the 9-3 is basically an Opel Vectra underneath so draw your own conclusions on that.

Best advice is to test drive a few over here and judge for yourself.

if you're thinking about resale, forget any Saab. My brother is on his 3rd, but looks past that - he buys them when they've already depreciated.

We bought an mid 06 Vector Estate Sport with full leather and everything, here for just over your budget - and got a Saab dealer warranty too.

Faichney & Ringwood have one for your money, so not bad value imho.

I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”

If your looking at a Saab, look at a Alfa Romeo 159 1.9 JTDm they are well within your Budget, same engine 120BHP or 150 BHP...
Don't know about the Saab, but I can vouch for the 159 JTDm
    Better looking car IMO :)
    Best of luck
