Pete gets what he's what's been coming to him for a long time. I don't care about his musical talent (or lack of), someone with the influence he does should be seeing 14 months or years, not weeks for his attitude.

No doubt he'll be mollycoddled and only serve half of it, but finally, some cumuppence. Maybe he'll actually attend some rehab while in there.

The 14-week sentence means the singer has been forced to postpone a much-anticipated sold-out solo show at the Royal Albert Hall in London on 26 April.

He will also miss the Glastonbury Festival which runs over 27-29 June. Doherty was due to headline The Park Stage at the festival and was also rumoured to perform with Babyshambles.
