In market for a good 40 - 42' TV (under 1000 bucks if possible).

What is a good LCD or plasma for this sort of cash.
If buying this size of telly, is LCD or plasma best (pound for pound)
Where should I purchase? UK websites are best priced but wont deliver a 42' to ROI.
Currys in the north do some good deals on Samsung. These telly look good but are they any good.
