We are planning to do a kitchen extension to a house we have just bought. Can anyone recommend a good architect in the South Dublin area who will come up with ideas that are a bit different to the norm?

We generally dont allow firms to be named on this forum especially when it comes down to individual recommendations as it stops people getting free advertising.

However we dont have a problem with other users here sending you a PM (private message) in relation to your query.

Go to the website of your local authority - planning search part

Look for applications for works you have seen locally , that you liked

you can look at drawings , see who prepared them

you will also get contact details of clients

make ( polite ) enquiries as to how they got on with their architect
