Is there any reason for eMule not to work with Smart? It was blocked with Clearwire, but I thought Smart Telecom had no such restrictions. On all seven servers I get "it appears to be dead".

Smart only block port 25 to stop outgoing spam. Emule is unblocked and unthrottled. You either need to find a more recent server list (google will provide this) or unblock ports on your router.
