After my recent thread in PI about not being the domestic godess....more like the domestic jester LOL....some kind person sent me this and I thought it was lovely, just had to share:

I hope my children will look back on today
and see a mother who had time to play
There will be years for cleaning and cooking,
But Children grow up when we are not looking
Dusting and Scrubbing can wait till tomorrow,
for babies grow fast, we learn to our sorrow
So quiet down cobwebs, dust go to sleep
I'm rocking my baby and babies don't keep.

Mine are now 19, 17 and 15. It has been great being their Dad, it's even nicer that I am still their 'Daddy' (my girls) and Dad (the son).

But I can't help mylonging for a little one to bounce on my knee.

That was beautiful! I keep trying to tell hubby that. I'm also a childminder and I think spending time with the kids is much more valuable than keeping the kitchen clean (especially since I now have 3 two year olds helping make lunch).
Thank you for the ammo! ;)
