Boards is intelligent. It has AI bots to filter out incoherent ramblings. Not sure how this one slipped under the radar, though there are rumours that every 1,000,000,000th hour the AI bots blink for 0.0000000001th of a second, and a thread posted at this precise moment will slip through unnoticed.

    It's just a theory though.

What forums are you trying to post in? Do you get some sort of error message or something else when you can't post? Some forums are pre-moderated which means you won't see your post until a moderator approves it. Try posting under the Helpdesk (under the Sys menu) for site related problems in the future.

Having evaluated your intellect by means of your pitiable spelling and grammar I’ve concluded that the reason you can’t post threads sometimes is because you’ve neglected to turn your computer on and are staring blankly at a darkened monitor whilst mashing your keyboard in senseless fury and emitting loud grunts of frustration.

To anyone who's been around the internet for more than five minutes, it's apparent that one of the basic rules of thumb is to make any information you put out there easy to read. Whether you're writing tutorials/designing websites/posting on forums. It's just good manners in terms of web etiquette. He may as well learn this now, it will make his future experiences all the more pleasant.

    Besides, we're bored.

Suddenly terrified of coming to AH again.... there's a conspiracy against noobs!

Then try posting fo-in-et-ick-ally. Even at that, something will never become "someting", nor shall thought become "tought". And don't get me started on "there,s"...

FYI, you have nothing to fear, you can clearly speak the language you were born and raised with. Odd that some people can't. Or choose not to...

When I'm on boards I appreciate posts that are written correctly. Posts that use appropriate grammar and even if spelling is phonetic, are at least legible.

It makes your point more comprehensible and allows people to reply more accurately as they've a better idea of what you meant. I’m only on this a few months so relative inexperience isn’t really an excuse.

However; wat rly rly rly anoys me s wen som ppl tink dat txtspk s gr8 n ur posts luk cul n it shud b used 4 dat reason nly.

It's not a nOOb thing, it's a grammer thing! that's all. I'm only around these parts a few months and the txt spk drives me mental!

    We are nice deep down:D

    And by the way, WELCOME!!
