Is there many hd-dvd releases to come out in the future ? Any chance that independent companies could third party release stuff on the HD-DVD format ,for that market.

Shan't be anymore releases. One of the recently released HD-DVDs was officially the last one to be produced (or it may be still yet to come, can't remember). But the format is gone, so don't expect anything to be released in the future, not even from independent companies.

They also cancelled european releases of HD DVD's aleady in production/produced. Those that had pre-orders in had them cancelled
