    Due to the fact that the county season clashes with the new IPL jamboree the ECB is looking at the expansion of the Twenty20 Cup into an EPL. Is this good or bad? I would consider it better than that Pro40 rubbish.

    Looks like it will have to be done. Or make a window of their own in the international calender and allow the centrally contracted players back to their counties and play that way.

    Hard to see if it can be done this side of 2010, though.

    I think the soccer crowd will have something to say with the naming! ;)
