I've been offered an interview for an Eason (franchise) branch near me. Does anyone here work for them? What are they like to work for and what is the pay like?

    Many thanks!

    :)

I worked in easons a year ago and the pay was very good for what i was doing, started at 870 and went up to 920 after a month, easons raise the pay of everyone in each branch when they increase it. Its a great job, manager in the place i worked was evil though and didnt care for the staff so gave us a hard time but besides that the jobs great,go for it

My sister works there, and gets 9.40 per hour. She likes it a lot. She works part-time, as she's a student, and the management are very obliging and understanding regarding time off when necessary. And it's a 20% discount, which is nice :)

I was interviewed this morning and was told that the pay was €9 per hour. Should know before Monday whether I have the job or not.

Maybe the rate of pay varies from location to location. My sister is in a city; is yours rural based?

It's in Sligo. Maybe it's because it's a franchise branch..?

Maybe, yeah. I didn't know there were any Easons franchises, to be honest. You learn something new every day.

Or...maybe it's based on experience? Either way, good luck, I hope you get it. :)
