Where would a lad buy some live wild rabbits, and whats the going rate? Nothing cruel now not for coursing or any of that stuff, a mate has 20 odd acres of ground round his house and he wants some wild life about the place and there not a bunny anywhere

Around my way they go for approx €10, €70 for hares & fox cubs !

There're lads ferreting on here, this would be a good idea, and probably wouldn't set you back more than a few pints. ;)

dont think many ferreters would begrudge a few bunnies, especially as its going to help re-populate an area! a bit of caution tho, some neighbouring farmers/landowners might not be so keen on a pest being introduced to an area where there isnt any. they do have a bit of a reputation for reproducing;)

i think its a good idea and often thought of it myself but as i don't own any land i didn't want to get in the farmers bad books.
its the same round my area saw three on sat night and thats the first three in a year so i left them be with a bit of luck there will be a few more by next year

Was going past the junction of the M1/ N32. at about 9am today There was a field just full of rabbits most have seen about 20 of them.

You would know you can't shot them there with the roads and hotels.

Have been told that there is a few with
Mixy out that way all ready. Think investors own a lot of the land there and they don't let the shooters in!
