    Hi,

I'm bidding on a car - and its the first I've seen in a while that ticks all my boxes.
I'm currently the highest bidder.......but I dont want to loose the auction and get "Sniped" at the last second?

    Question is -

    What is my best option?

    Auction sniper?
    maximum bid yoke on ebay?
    or what?

and if i use auction sniper - how many seconds should i set it to to pop in that last bid in the dying moments of the auction?

any help will be most appreciated.

    thanks.

What is this auction sniper that you speak of? Could be handy little tool.

    Is this auctionsniper website ok?

Could be a very good tool for people who use ebay regularly!

my mate uses it all the time and speaks very highly of it........sign up and you get free snipes. I've just loaded up the details of the car i have in my sights - the auction ends in 2hours - my last bid goes in 4 secs before it ends...........fingers crossed i'll snipe it!

    Ah hard luck!

One thing I hate about eBay, losing an auction which you really want!!!

That makes no sense....you'd never lose an auction you really want, obviously because you'd have put in a larger bid than everyone else no matter how much the cost, that is unless someone wants it more than you do. Its all a case of you might *really* want it , but how much are you prepared to pay for it.

Obviously when bidding on ebay you have to ensure restraint!

Otherwise we'd all be buying items which are far beyond their retail value!

This works really well. Have used it for years.

I've noticed the ebay Bid Assistant....but not sure what it does.ft2.jpg:confused:

Supposedly helps manage your bids but if it doesn't do what the sniper tools do, what use is it?
