Call it what you want,'postponed' or otherwise but pulling out of a guaranteed tournament 2 days prior cause you won't be able to fill it stinks from a height.JPs' tournie has been advertised for months as you know.

You have the privalige of using this forum for advertising purposes and you milk this to the last as you are entitled, but saying you will not discuss this matter further on this thread is just not on,and is terrible form from a reputable promoter.

I'm presuming you feel you won't get 20 runners so are pulling the game?
This is very worrying as i plan to play your '50k GUARANTEED' tournament in tramore.

If 50 players turned up for this event will the 50k guarantee be honoured?

I would appreciate a response from you on this matter as i'm presuming you have broken relations with your sponsor as there are to be no online sats and i can assure you many others have concerns that the guarantee will not be honoured in the event of a poor turnout.

seems to be a witch hunt here for kelly, did he not go on the thread for the waterford open earlier and explain where and when the live and online sats would be ??

so what if they moved the tournament to a later date, big deal, poker events also moved thier event to the 11th and were commended for doing so..... get over yourselves lads

If its such a big deal to yourself i again request u to take the matter up over the phone Which never happens.

1 the Guarantee is still there for the 75 game just moved to another date
2 Wheter u show up to the tramore event really is your choice
3 With over 170 players registerred for summer event u should not play as
maths would not be your chosen subject as this would add to more then 50k

(Sad i have to respond to petty things like this )At no stage was the guarantee pulled for the event just the event moved . Case Closed

It's a shame Waterford people always feel they have to wash their dirty linen in public.

I am on the newly formed sub committee in Blazin Aces as is Fox, Alex Collyer, Slaps & Billy Fitzpatrick.

If Thund &/or Krux have a problem you know the avenues that are open to you. I personally did not agree with the change of date of this event & SAID IT IN PERSON to Neil Kelly.

Now I would suggest to Krux & Thund to grow some balls & discuss this in the open with those involved and not be hiding behind a name on a public forum.

I'm not interested in two faced dealings so if you have a problem be man enough to discuss it with me or any committee member or with the orgainisers in person. You are doing no favours for anyone discussing it here & I hope this will close it.

    David McCarthy aka kakak

bulls.i.t kelly you were asked why this was cancelled in the club by a number of members and you or your partners never gave a stright answer as for your comment mr kakaka this was put to a committee member alax collier and he said he knew notting about it so if u cant address this in your own club in private were else do u do it only on a public forum by the way you and kelly should take a look back at your posts ye made about canceling garunteed tournments before ye come on and bull**** about this one...that being the sligo rovers fundraiser

Firstly the committee was formed last Thursday week so we haven't even had a meeting yet so we are not up & running but be assured when we are all issues like this will be dealt by us.

Totally different scenario. Sligo Rovers event was advertised as a guaranteed event but when numbers fell short ON THE DAY the guarantee was pulled. The tournament was held but the prizefund only reflected the numbers who attended. This did not happen in this instance, over 4/5 days notice was given that the event HAD BEEN MOVED to another date.

It's not in anyones interest to run an event that is going to lose money & from a business point of view it makes sense to change the date & instead have a quality tournament on a more suitable date............ unless of course you feel your game is inadequate and with a big event clashing there might be some easy pickings locally

And please at least pay me the courtesy of spelling my name "kakak" correctly

so kakak.... what your saying is the club can advertise a game at any time and then cancel it if they feel they wont get the numbers therefore the question should be asked why guarentee a game at all

Bigslick i'm disappointed you feel the need to resort to insulting me to try and articulate your thoughts,i have genuine questions and this is the obvious place to ask.

You are using this forum to advertise events and should be able to take the rough with the smooth.Indeed i have absolutely no gripe with BA or bigslick, quite the opposite in fact I have always been very impressed with the tournaments you run,and sincerely hope you continue to do so.
As as happened before if there are queries which are asked to be addressed which you don't want to it's a case of 'give me a ring',this is nonsence.

Kakak, the size of my balls are not the issue,i have concerns which i asked to be adressed and abuse is all that follows.
So a gtd tournie was pulled 'ON THE DAY',so i guess this makes it ok,lol what a load of crap, come on ffs.
You as a member of the commitee 'said it in person to neil kelly' which clearly matters little and leads me to believe what the vast majority of the other players in waterford already do,that this commitee is a long running april fools joke.
And please no more bulls!!t comments about 'my game' this is pretty childish,so grow up and kindly keep your nose out of something that has feck all to do with you.My questions were addressed to Bigslick
