Going grand for me, I made and plan and have stuck to it. I'm about halfway through my material now.

Tis going badly. Where do ye find is the best place to study?

The library would kinda drive ya mad, with everyone coming in and out and moving and coughing and farting and the like.

Q+3 for me. If the noise bothers you just use one of the A/V booths and make is look like you are using it for research. No one is using them anyway.

    I can't settle either.
I'm doing a HDip this year and had no problems kuckling down to it as an undergraduate.

I would avoid the UCC library at all cost. 2 years ago I sent weekly emails to the SU president and of course the useless prick didn't do a thing about it.

The Bebo muppet women( The ones with the orange faces and snow boots) are the worst. What part of "library" don't they understand? It's a social club for them seemingly.

What, the SU served no useful purpose for you? Shocka!

I go to Q+3 already, but ya, A/V places are a good idea in fairness to ya! Ah I'll give it a go again..

Yeah, I heard all that before. Its a toothless union, full of wannabe politician idiots.

I'm no big fan of it but a lot of the work is done in the background..without it we may be paying fees, wouldn't have free printing and no one to push for better library hours.

I find the library fine really but maybe I'm just not as senstive to the noises and whatnot, I mean I hear them alright but it doesnt put me off.

LOL, when the government eventually reinstate fees, the SU and the USI will have nothing to do with it. They are toothless.

    Perhaps.

I don't see why this is a good thing, it is simply encouraging students to study until 1.30am every night, which will only lead to problems for the student.

I was in college Friday and while the library was absolutely packed, the Kampus Kitchen was grand and quiet.
That's probably the best place to go study.

Yeah does anyone seriously think we need this 24 hour library sh*t. We could then have a situation where people simply live in college

I'd like to see the whole place go 24 hour. I've been thrown out of my office a bunch of times around deadlines when another hour or two would really have helped. It would also be nice to be able to come in early - like 7:30.

I see exams are looming closer - the gardens and the area outside the student centre are filling up with people "taking breaks from study".
