They really are terrible. Personally i've seen Alone In The Dark (terrible) House Of The Dead (stinking) Bloodrayne (tosh) & a few more but i've blanked them from memory!

He finances a lot of his own movies, that's how they can keep getting made!

I dont think he's as bad as people make him out to be.

Movies may be crap but they can be enjoyable fodder at times. I don't get in a huff when I hear he's making a new film nor will I rush out to see said film.

I read in Empire a while ago that he was making some war film which was apparently supposed to be quite decent. I think he gets a lot of stick though, from people who havent even seen his films. Dont get me wrong, the one's i've seen have sucked a huge amount of ass, but a lot of people judge the films before even seeing them. Saying that, Farcry looks like dog****. With such an indepth story, it should have been a masterpiece :rolleyes:

uwe boll is involved in personally financing all his films, and in gernany there is a government law that allows entraupeneurs in germany to claim back money that they invest.

long story short, aslong as his films dont gross a certain amount he is eligable for tax relief. : /

its a massive scam, and he goes and just buys a **** load of video game titles, because they are cheap

as far as im aware theres a massive push in germany to have this legislation changed

His movies are terrible though. Alone in the dark was awful, late night horrorthon awful.

Come on people. The man makes entertaining post pub films which are enjoyable at 3am in the morning in a state of intoxication. Having seen all of Mr Boll's films and after recently acquiring a copy of Seed I have to admit that he makes thoroughly entertaining films. I will watch anything, and there are only two films that I have had to turn off in disgust neither of which have had any input from the Boll.

Next time you stumble home in the wee hours of the morning, watch House of the Dead and tell me it's not entertianing.

Say what you want about the ****ness of Mr. Bolls films (and they are god awful)

But maybe we should give him a bit of respect for actually getting out there financing nad making movies when all most of us can do is sit behind a keyboard and dream?

He is also a very talented marketer (not only does he finance and make his own movies but even though the end results are terrible everybody knows his name!)
