you could do it yourself, hole in the wall, run the cable through, no big deal.

believe me if i could i would :) but the dish is a good bit away from the box so i would have to tack it to the outside wall, dont fancy trying that, anyone know how much it should cost to get an installer to do it?

Is it just a cable you need here ? How many sky boxes have you got , just two ?

The Reason I ask is that you most likely have a quad lnb , in which case , there is room for four cables , thats four standard boxes , or two sky boxes , any more than that and you need a new lnb , Octal probably , and they are a bit expensive , which may explain the price , otherwise , yeah 150 is too much.

yeah i have a quad lnb and i have a hd box and plus box(with one cable) so its just a cable i need , there is room for one more cable on the lnb so i definately dont need the octal lnb, i thought 150 was too expensive for what i needed done

Ah so you did my apologies...but unless you live in huge house I think €150 is a tad on the expensive side myself ....I'd do it in Limerick for about €60-€70 depending on time involved..

Not if he wants both Digiboxes to work independently.

Most guys I know (including myself) would charge around 90 euro for this, traffic time is a factor which may account for it being slightly more expensive than outside Dublin.

I agree €90 sound about right.
