I'm looking for an MP3 player to replace my 4GB Creative Zen, I'm looking for something with maybe 16GB or 30GB. People seem to be saying the Zune is a good iPod equivalent(i dont want an iPod, you know how it is irrational reasons and what not). So is the Zune the way to go? Or should I go with something else? I'm looking for an MP3 player to replace my 4GB Creative Zen, I'm looking for something with maybe 16GB or 30GB. People seem to be saying the Zune is a good iPod equivalent(i dont want an iPod, you know how it is irrational reasons and what not). So is the Zune the way to go? Or should I go with something else? And does anyone know good sites for a good deal? Thought i had one but they wont tell if I've bought anything or not lol

Recently did lots of research on various mp3 players. The new Zune 80 is supposed to be great. Its 80gb (more than anyone would ever need) and only costs less than 250 euro.

-16GB or more

-Prefrably in the 100-200 euro range

-Not an ipod

-Something durable

-And a would appreciate any good sites to buy one on...

take a look at advancedmp3players.co.uk and maybe ebay.ie as well, you might find a better price.

People seem to have mixed feelings about that player. Check up some reviews on cnet.com or youtube.

Also, amazon wont delivery electronics to Ireland.

I have the 30gb version. I got it for $140 off ebay before Christmas. It's a good mp3 player, has a great sized screen for watching videos and a decent radio which comes handy at times. Only downside I think is the software you need to use, It's woeful.

I'd recommend it

Yeah the creative looks good although, its 144 euro + around 25 euro delivery. Works our at roughly 170 euro. Thats pretty much the same price as Komplett.ie

Id always go for a well known website over ebay if the prices are around the same.

The Zune is also available in smaller capacities (4, 8 and 30GB also).
Check www.zune.com

Another vote here for amp3.co.uk - have used several times over the
years, they'll price match Amazon UK and they stock a wider range
than most shops.

Thanks for all the advice...I'm thinking on going with the Zune as it has more memory and a bigger screen...However I tried to buy an MP3 player off iBood the other day, I signed up to the site and got to the stage were i was told i was getting an email to confirm my purchase...but I've gotten no email, when i try to sign in I'm told I'm not registered, and i sent an email to there complaints thingy on Friday and I've still gotten no response...how long should i wait to buy my Zune?
